MDT CZ RIMFIRE SCOPE BASE

TOOLS NEEDED

• T10 Torx driver
• Torque wrench (in-lb)
• Optional: Rubber Mallet

PROCESS START

IMPORTANT - if you do not feel comfortable installing the MDT CZ Rimfire Scope Base Rail yourself it is advisable to consult a gunsmith.

• Ensure that the firearm is unloaded.
• Remove the magazine (if inserted) and bolt.

1. Loosen the preinstalled screws enough to back off the clamps.

2. Place the rail such that the rail recoil lug is towards the rear of the ejection port almost touching. Make sure that the bottom flat face of the rail is sitting flat against the center flat face of the action.

3. Slide the rail all the way forward until the rail recoil lug is pressed firmly against the front of the ejection port.
   1. Note: you might have to give it a few taps with a rubber mallet or similar due to the variance in action dovetail tolerance.
      

4. Torque all screws to 15-20 in-lb. After taking out your CZ for some fun (100-150 rounds), check all four screws and re-torque if necessary.
