I now see that my initial question has been answered but the description shows for up to the .308, will these work for the 6.5 creedmoor?
They sure do! The short caliber chassis will work with all the short action cartridges including 308, 6.5 creedmoor, 243, 223, 7mm-08 etc.
Do these fit the Savage Axis/Axis II in .270 Winchester or 30-06?
Hello! I'm new to your product line and I'm in need of some information. I just purchased a Savage Axis 2 with the MDT package installed on the rifle I have read online that my particular chassis was built specifically for this rifle. I would like to know which particular chassis this maybe and if there are any current accessories that I can order to fit my current set up, I have unfortunately already purchased your ESS carbon fiber forend which is not compatible. Please respond with any info that may be helpful for future purchases from your business, thank you, Andrew.
Yes, we offer our chassis for both long and short action Axis rifles.
Your Axis Precision has M-Lok on it and will work with any of our M-Lok accessories.
Does the LSS Gen 2 and LSS XL Gen 2 short action one fit in the savage axis ii xp 308 bolt action? And if fix, what about the mag latch? Where can I get it? And can I put an AR-15 grip as the chassis grip?
Hello Matt! The Savage AXIS is different than the standard Savage that we offer, you will need to make sure that AXIS is in the name, currently we only offer it in the LSS and ESS families, the LSS-XL only works for the standard numbered actions for Savage.
All of our chassis accept a standard AR-15 grip.
I have a savage axis xp 30-06 what chassie will work for it
Currently we offer the LSS for the Savage AXIS LA which is what you would need for the 30-06 variant - https://mdttac.com/us_en/lss-chassis-system.html
I bought my axis .243 like 8 years ago and I'm unsure if it's a youth model or not l, came in a package with 3x9 scope was the cabelas cheapie special. Will the fact that my axis II is almost 8 years old affect the fit with the LSS or should it still work
Your rifle will work with our Savage Axis SA chassis without issue.
Anthony, I have a Axis chambered in .243, that was purchased about a year ago. Wanting to verify it will fit the Oryx SA chassis. Also, your site says shipping in 8-10 weeks. Is this accurate?
Yes, your rifle will fit a Savage Axis SA chassis without issue. Yes, that is accurate.
