No, you do not. Our chassis system utilizes a V-Block bedding system for all cylindrical actions. This eliminates the need for bedding as the action is pulled down and evenly across the entire bedding area.

With the V block the contact area is a hair thin line on either side of the receiver. I agree your chassis shoots well without bedding in most cases. But with the minimal contact surely bedding would be an improvement over not?
In our experience, there is not significant improvement with further bedding of our chassis; this is why we have many OEM clients that we work with as they are able to skip that step and still have the rifle shoot to its fullest capabilities.
