SUPPORT CENTER:

Will my Savage rifle work with an MDT Chassis?

Savage has many different models. Unfortunately, there are many different Savage models, and over the years there have been minor changes that sometimes affect fit and function. We do however 100% guarantee our chassis to work in the following.

All MDT Savage Short Action Chassis will work with:
Model 10, 11, 12 and 16 with the exception of model 12-Palma, 12-Fclass, 12-benchrest. Additionally, new Model 110's in short action chamberings.

All MDT Savage Long Action Chassis:
Model (new models) 110, 111, 112, and 116. Additionally, we support stagger feed model 110 in long action rounds, however, a modification will need to be made to the receiver.

We also support Savage models with the bottom bolt release. The bolt release is accessible through the side of the trigger guard.

I have a Savage 110 BA Stealth. Which chassis will work for it? I assume any that fit the Savage long action but I'm not 100% sure. Thanks!

Ok, since you guys make the Stealth chassis, can you tell me what aftermarket buttstocks fit it correctly? I was interested in the Magpul PRS but after speaking to Magpul, they don't recommend it because it doesn't line up correctly?

The Stealth chassis was designed for collapsible stocks. So the Magpul CTR for example is a good option. We are also working on a new buttstock which will come out in a few weeks that will be a good fit.,

If you prefer a fixed stock, such as the Magpul PRS, it is possible with our fixed stock adapter. But the Length of Pull will be large. Our Skeleton Rifle Stock will also work with the fixed stock adapter, and would be 1" shorter than the Magpul PRS.

Yes our short action chassis for Savage will fit the model 12. For the 22-250 use a .308 magazine

Will your MDT Skeleton Rifle Stock Lite work with the Savage Stealth?  I am assuming I'd have to use the fixed stock adapter. If this will work, can you provide an approximate length of pull?   Thanks!

That is correct, it will work with the Fixed Stock Adapter. Approximate LOP is 15"

Another option is the Skeleton Carbine Stock, for which you do not need the adapter.

Will the ESS chassis fit a Savage Model 11? And will it support the bottom bolt release and/or top bolt release?

Will the Tac21 mag fit my new 308 Savage 10BA Stealth?  The pic on this site looks the same and the mag that came in the box has your marks on it.  Apparently, not all ACIS mags are compatible.

Yes, your Savage Stealth comes with an MDT magazine which has the AICS profile. Any of our .308 magazines would work with your Stealth.

Hello there, I just bought a Savage axis II XP on 30 06, wondering which chassis system you recommend. Would you be able to give me list of all I need for this project. Thank you.

Your HS3 chassis does not fit to my Savage 111 LRH in 338 LM. The recoil lock is too wide for the chassis.

Correct Roland, the HS3 is not designed for the long action Savage in 338 Lapua the 110 Stealth and 111 Long Range Hunter use a 3.850" mag which doesn't fit as well as a thicker recoil lug.  The chassis that you will need is our ESS for the Savage LA 3.850
