Will my Savage rifle work with an MDT Chassis?

Savage has many different models. Unfortunately, there are many different Savage models, and over the years there have been minor changes that sometimes affect fit and function. We do however 100% guarantee our chassis to work in the following.

All MDT Savage Short Action Chassis will work with:
Model 10, 11, 12 and 16 with the exception of model 12-Palma, 12-Fclass, 12-benchrest. Additionally, new Model 110's in short action chamberings. 

All MDT Savage Long Action Chassis:
Model (new models) 110, 111, 112, and 116. Additionally, we support stagger feed model 110 in long action rounds, however, a modification will need to be made to the receiver. 

 

We also support Savage models with the bottom bolt release. The bolt release is accessible through the side of the trigger guard.

    The LSS Savage Short Action Chassis says it has 2 different bolt spacings, 4.4" and 4.275" but there is no choice to select either one when checking out? I have a FCP-SR with a 4.4" bolt spacing.
    Or does the chassis cater for both? Are there 3 holes drilled in the chassis?

    The one chassis works for both. The front hole uses an oval washer with an offset hole, which can be placed 2 ways, to accommodate the 2 different hole spacings.

    Will the Tac21 work with my 270 savage 110?

    Yes, the Long Action TAC21 (to be released Sept 2014) will work with the .270. You can use a .300WM magazine for this caliber.

    Yes, Savage model 1111 7mm will work. No modifications required. Use a .300WM magazine for the 7mm

    Yes, the TAC21 for Savage will also fit the Stevens 200, but may need minor fitting depending on the tolerances of the action.

    Yes, the long action chassis will work with the Savage Axis II .270. But the LA Axis chassis won't be released until about October 2015

    Yes it will, using the 3.715 length AICS compatible magazines.

    Will the Tac21 fit perfectly on a Savage model 10TR? Some people seem to say that there may be an issue with aftermarket stocks since the bolt release is under the trigger guard and some difference in the recoil lug. I do not want to file or modify, even slightly, the  chassis
